My oldest daughter found this video about Parks and Recreation and pestered me to watch it. Eventually I did. And it’s brilliant.
It turns out my daughter is turning into a total sitcom geek like her dad. (To be fair, I’m now showing her Yes, Prime Minister and Seinfeld. And not quite sure where to start with Red Dwarf.)
Anyway, while I’m on a summer break, I thought I’d share the video. (Actually, as you’re reading this, I’m probably in my office now working on a sitcom). The video is about how they managed to essentially fix the plane as it was in flight and managed to pull up before it hit a mountain. It’s well worth 9 minutes of your time:
Oh, and there’s this one about Brooklyn 99 and how it shouldn’t have worked, but did:
And there are also videos about Modern Family, The Office, Community and How I Met Your Mother, among others.
You’re welcome! Hope you’re having a good summer.
Some years back, I watched the first episode of this show, I actively disliked it, and couldn't understand how it got all the praise it did. It was only when someone I trusted said to skip the whole first series that I gave it another try - they really did rescue this one!
